Na última quinta-feira, 1º de outubro, Isis Valverde esteve no Festival de Cinema do Rio de Janeiro, onde teve a oportunidade de dialogar com a repórter Monique Arruda. Durante a conversa, a atriz expressou sua convicção de que o cinema brasileiro está atravessando um período excepcional, superando até mesmo as produções internacionais.
“Estou aqui hoje celebrando o cinema nacional e acredito que não há limites para nós. Se existe um limite, parece que ele está muito abaixo do que podemos alcançar”, disse Valverde ao iniciar sua fala.

A artista destacou que o Brasil está “vivendo sua melhor fase na história do cinema nacional” e acredita que as obras produzidas no país já ultrapassam as internacionais em qualidade. “Acredito que já superamos isso. Nossa produção é excepcional porque quando falta dinheiro e amor para fazer os filmes, encontramos maneiras criativas de realizar algo incrível. Mesmo diante das dificuldades financeiras, temos uma capacidade impressionante de fazer acontecer”, afirmou.
No momento, ela participa de projetos como “Corrida dos Bichos”, disponível na Prime Video, além de “Quarto do Pânico”, dirigido por Gabriela Amaral Almeida.
